60 Gallon Endler Tank

This is the 60 gallon Endler tank in my office, and it’s a busy one. Male and female Endlers, albino cories I bred myself, cherry and amano shrimp, and a cleanup crew of pond and ramshorn snails all share the space.

Stock list

  • Male and female Endlers (Poecilia wingei); the original group came from the Colorado Aquarium Society
  • Albino cories (Corydoras aeneus), bred by me
  • Cherry shrimp (Neocaridina davidi)
  • About 2 amano shrimp (Caridina multidentata)
  • Pond snails and ramshorn snails

Setup

  • 60 gallon tall
  • Fluval 407 canister filter with a sponge prefilter
  • Fluval AquaSky light
  • Sand substrate
  • Moss clumps, pennywort-type plants and grassy plants

This was my original setup when I got back into the hobby, back when it had blue gravel. A rescape is planned.
