Chaos Aquatics started the way most good obsessions do — one tank that was never going to be “just one tank.”
I’m based in Colorado, keeping freshwater aquariums and slowly turning a hobby into something I want to share. These days that means a planted 50-gallon community, a breeding-focused setup, and a Medaka pond out on the patio.
I’m not a scientist or a fish store — I’m a keeper who likes understanding why things work. Why my water out here is hard, why a plant melts and then comes back, why one batch of fry survives and another doesn’t. I share the experiments, the setups, and the lessons so the next person has a shorter learning curve than I did.
Stick around, ask questions, and don’t be afraid to make a little chaos of your own.
